Eclipse of the Gold
Those of us with Saturn in Leo or the fifth house are born with a shadow over our expression of light. Through the years I've had to make the decision between the adoration of the crowd and truth to myself.
That one is easy.
People always follow the lesser lights and it is a stroke of cosmic magic when an advanced human being gets into the limelight. It happens when s:he is needed. Sometimes the eclipse is beneficial, as the natives can work unimpeded at self development and mastery away from the glare of public attention. As Saturn gets ready to leave Leo, many things have come clear about the lights the collective has elevated to such high positions. The Queen of England has arrived to put on a tawdry show with the broken United States of America and her pathetic and embarrassing array of elite rulers. The hats on her highness's head are the only things of importance. The Neoconservatives who govern now are way way out of their league over there in Persian and Ottoman land. There never was such a thing as an American Empire. The mighty Fidel Castro is a no-show. And now the lost ones are trying something really unusual in a last ditch effort .... DIPLOMACY! Leadership around the globe is in the dumps. The final act of Saturn in Leo has revealed the failure. The gold has turned back to base metal. The confusion is astonishing, with the Saturn-Neptune opposition, the North Node in Pisces, Uranus in Pisces, and the Iraqi civil war started at 29, a symbol of the entire planetary civil war and the futility of it all. At least they can read the quarterly profit reports. There is better leadership in the wings. It will emerge when the time is right. Some is subtly slipping in already. It's probably a good thing we're on our own currently without some maniac taking over continents. As Saturn finishes his work and Pluto spins knowingly back to the Galactic center of our Milky Way for the final time, the cosmic leaders have had to step in for the moment. We'll see if they can do the job as Pluto heads for Capricorn and Aquarius, heralding the evolution of governments worldwide. We can certainly do better. Illustration: Gennady Sprin
