Here's to you Congresspeople! Good luck and do your best with the vote of confidence of the United Sates of America. If you can't pass any decent legislation at least give us a good show! This evening there will be dancing expected to last until the wee hours.

It' happening girls.
The Event: An afternoon tea honoring Nancy Pelosi and featuring a tribute to the late Ann Richards.
The Crowd: Some 400 female politicians, activists, and Pelosi supporters.
The Scene: Elegant and festive. Smoked salmon canapes and petit fours to eat. Music provided by a string quartet.
Elegance, enthusiasm, good fortune in the air. Ann Richards is a good choice.
Can I dare, actually dare, to hope that some good taste will reappear from hiding?
And that we can put death on the back burner?

Yes, we have been waiting for the grandmother's return for a long, long time. I am ready.
Oh, it gets much deeper now! You won't believe the things going on right now. First, I find out after getting off work this morn that Holy Joe had his own private indie party highjacked by a Dem critic that changed to that party. Then being the only member, he voted himself in as the chairman! The Conn Sec of Stated ackowledged it!
Then Harriet Miers is resigning!
Now for the bad news. The Dolt-In-Chief used a signing statement to enable himself to read your mail!!!!!!!
Pelosi better see this for what it is. There will be no bipartisanship. That animal will be back to business as usual. Nancy better put impeachment back on the table. They better not celebrate too long.
It's going to be pandemonium as the power shifts, and the everyone finds her position. This is such a new game wuth a woman in the men's club. The whole tradition has just been demolished. Over 200 years of it. A major, major step.
With the NN in Pisces it will swirl until next year when all the energy changes. Pelosi wants to lead the House for many years to come and she will be establishing her connections and power over a period of time.
It will be fascinating to see who emerges in leadership.
But this is womens' moment. We can all capitalize. My grandmother couldn't remember our names, so I'll have to use the ancient model ..:*)
